Simon is the Chief Operations Officer at Makerere University Lung Institute (MLI) with over eight years’ experience in research project management and over five years in finance and operations at the Lung Institute.

He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in project planning and management, a Certificate in Procurement and supply chain management and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He has attended training in financial management, grants and budgeting.

He brings experience and skills that are critical for transformational operations management and turning around institutions for effective service delivery.
